Full Fat Yogurt, Hold the Kool-ade
Greek yogurt is thick, almost like cream cheese. It has a ridiculous amount of fat in it, (unless you get the FAGE 0%, which is lovely, albeit less creamy). With less water than regular yogurts, it has a lot more protein. Too, I have only seen it sold plain, so you don’t have all the sugar you’d get with a Yoplait or Danone or something. It’s more than a snack, though. It’s hearty.
It’s really good if you throw some almonds or walnuts into it and drizzle with a little bit of honey. Darker honey is best. Fresh ginger would also be nice, and of course there are always frozen berries or pineapple.
If you don’t want to go sweet, dill and smoked fish would make a nice topping. As would pepper and tomatoes.
Trader Joe’s is an easy source, they sell both FAGE imported products and a “Trader Vasikios’” or whatever brand that is only full fat. TJ’s also sells a self branded Mediterranean cheese style yogurt, which would be great for marinating chicken or making sauces and dips, but is too sour for straight eating.
I hear that in actual Greece they make Greek yogurt with sheeps' milk. I have only found cows' milk products so far.

i've also used regular french's mustard on a sunburn or even large bug bite. for some reason it draws out the heat from the burn/bug bite.
fascinating..only i really wanted to eat a hot dog while i had mustard slathered all over my sunburnt nose :)
